2nd Gear Hit & Miss

Having problems on my new VS speedster. Shifting into 2nd gear has been a hit and miss event both up shift and down shift. Some times there's no problems other times I can not get into 2nd for the life of me, it just slips into 4th gear. The car was just recently built by VS and only has 500 miles. Any suggestions.

The shift rod bushing may be loose in its mounting or the shift coupler retaining bolt may be loose. Also check the parts at the bottom of the shift lever. If things are loose there's a procedure in the Bentley manual for lining things up and tightening back down. Sounds like a VS warranty issue to me...
