Mine is located in the right rear wheel well behind the splash shield. Cools superlatively.
Wheel well is different than above the trans. In a Spyder-like configuration, it has been proven not to work. That's why in a Spyder they are all up front now. Phil knows, he had one of the first(if not the first) Suby Spyder.
Who knows, it may work with the different rear venting.
I think the price is out of line, even though it has all the aluminum on the inside. I think it may be a Thunder Ranch car, Tom had done a few of these just before CCW took over.
Yep Danny. I had the first suby spyder EVER. Probably the first suby porsche replica. Huge radiator in the back. Would stay cool only for cruising. Get agressive and it would blow its top. All spyders since then have radiators in front.
That may be unique, but it ain't very pretty.
That is what I like about having freedoms..... you get to choose your own illusion, delusion.
