Hola, compadres... bear in mind that a US citizen can normally do zip in Mexico unless he has a Mexican partner, and the ongoing "mordida" to keep operating can eat heavily into any profits. One of my best BMW motorcycle customers was Mexican and owned a couple of VW dealerships and he could tell some intersting stories about doing business south of the border. NAFTA is a figment of politician's imaginations.

Tell that to the all time record number of folks out of work and careers.... more than in the great depression's height. Our industrial base is gone bubba.
Try driving in So TX now with the too wide for USA mexi-semis rolling north in record numbers, carrying what American labor formerly produced.
I will get off the politics, this is a Speedster forum. I too sold and bought things through Mexico in the 70s George, even had a brilliant partner down there.... and that had nothing to do with NAFTA, nor did your BMW dealings.
