Real 356 or replica? Because we're a replica site although many here have had the real thing and may still have parts for them.
The fiberglass bumpers for replica speedster have a different profile from the steel bumpers used on real cars. That said, even the polished alloy replica ones have jumped in price. VMC has for $510. Bumper Archives - Vintage Motorcars of California Inc. (vintagemotorcarsinc.com)
Try Sierra Madre for repos - $280 each. Porsche Parts Front Bumper (sierramadrecollection.com)
Those could cost an arm and a leg

Apparently, the quality is iffy though - many have air bubbles in the castings. Maybe someone has an old set gathering dust.
@TheMayoMachine bought a set from somewhere and the chrome quality was bad so IIRC he sent them off to be finished properly. Not cheap but they look outstanding on his Speedster.
Correct. I bought a set a while back. I will dig up the receipt and see when and where I got them.
The original finish was not to my liking so I had them chromed.
The reason most of us are so expensive on these guards is that the castings suck and we have to go through a dozen to get 4 worth fixing, and then we have to shave the profile to be correct and then either sand them out and polish them (what most do) or send them out to be triple chrome plated using the copper plate as a filler for all the porosity (what we do). I think we've even pulled them from our parts offering and only offer them on builds do to this.
