Okay - he's reported. Not that Ebay will do anything, but he is reported. Just because I'm such a nice person, I also posted this baloney on the Pelican BBS also. Be pretty funny if it turns out to be one of the Pelican guys' cars!

Gonna have to ring the bull$hit bell on this one. Guy has a feedback of "3" and has been a member for less than a month. Prior sales were all items under $10 now he steps up and has a 63 Cabriolet to sell for $8,000 Buy it Now! Also seller is concealing his bidders. This is really common when the seller has multiple accounts, he bids against himself to drive up the price and conceals this from other real bidders. Freaking tool kit is worth 3k!

I had a guy try to sell me a CLS550 with less than 2K miles for $15K below price. Problem was it is Greece. I asked him some simple questions about the process to import it in the USA and he ran. Too many scams on ebay now. Buyer beware.

Okay this is FUNNY! I posted this ebay scam on the Pelican BBS. One of the guys lives in Atlanta and offered to drive over immediately and pay CASHOLA for the car. Here's his posting from pelican...

It's all but impossible to sniff out shill bidders and scammers now. As far as I'm concerned they just helped out the scammers bigtime.
I know it's a double edged sword as this way keeps bidders from being bothered from outside interests, but that's what thw delete button is for.
