356 Corpse Badge

Anybody got a 356 Corpse Badge they are willing to part with? I would love to have one.

I'm in the market for one also. Any chance of having a second run of them for those of us not fortunate enough to have been around the first time?

The elusive corpse badge. I actually bought mine 2 years prior to even getting the car. I think I will hang on to it.

I FINALLY scored one late last year, I'll never part with it . . . just WAY too cool.

Gotta keep looking and asking, one will eventually turn up.

So if the current badge required 50 takers to justify a production run, does that mean we can get a batch of corpse badges with a commitment for 50? Theron?

Yes, that's possible. However, after the shipping problems with the current badges, I would go about the manufacturing very differently.

TC, these things run in cycles. The begging, pleading and cajoling will go away for a while and then there will be a new crop of Speedster owners who will want one. This is only the first reprise.

OK, there seems to be an interest in a run of corpse badges. I found a company that looks good. Who owns the rights to the corpse badge? Can we get permission to order a batch? I would even take responsibility for the legwork and up-front costs if I can get the artwork and the go-ahead .

I'm all for a re-issue of the "corpse badge", I was from the very beginning, (the FIRST beginning) when the "new "badge was first proposed and everyone decided that they were too mature to have a "live fast, die young" reference on their cars.

I was lucky enough to hunt down a "corpse" badge after the fact, but still don't understand why the original wasn't reproduced rather than the "other white meat" that's currently for sale.

Still . . . when it all comes right down to it . . .

I seriously thought about putting that high-dollar piece of Swiss in a mahogany frame under diamond-cut glass. That was the only part of my car with nothing wrong with it!
