Thanks, Dupont claims it has a color listed as Ivory, which was used by

Porsche. The only problem is, there is no code for them to mix it.

All they have is a chip in an old book. They have a guy who is a master

color matcher. He is going to mix up what he thinks is the color, send it

over, and I’ll spray it out. I’ve seen many cars claiming to be that color,

they all seemed a little different. Who knows which is the real thing. Since

I’m painting the whole car, and it’s mine, I’m not going to be too picky.

I’m going over the body now, it’s got some issues, but nothing major

except for the nose. It seems it took a good hit somewhere in its past.

I’ve had the car for about 25 years, used it as a daily driver, and never

wanted it cleaned up. I liked driving it, and parking it without worrying

about a chip. Now that I’m cleaning it up, I’m sure it’s not going to be not

as much fun to own. I’ll send some pictures tomorrow.
