Greg,

I just noticed that also, it is a very good magazine. They review the new Speedster book that just came out in this months issue. They like it a lot, evidently some new info is printed in it. I am wondering if anyone has seen the book or picked one up and a review from one of us would be a great idea. Reason I ask is because I think the price of the new book is $185. That's heavy bread even for a coffee table sized book. Like to get someones opinion before I pony that much up!

PS, the 356 registry seems to be a great organization with some nice articles every 2 months. They have a nice web site also. So far they have kind of ignored us replicar guys but did see a mention of a 550 replicar at some races.
Anyone can "join" the 356 Registry and receive their magazine, but only 356 Porsches with valid registration numbers are listed in the "registry." Even if your Replica is titled as a "Porsche," since it wouldn't have an actual Porsche vehicle ID number, the 356 Registry folks won't list it. They will happily take your money as a member though.
I am a 356 Registry member, and I also subscribe to the 356Talk email list (you don't have to be a member to get on the email list). If your interest extends at all beyond replicas to include Porsche history, other 356 models, vintage racing, the "culture" of Porsche, etc., then you would probably enjoy getting the magazine. The email list often covers topics and issues that replica owners don't deal with, but there are some great minds on there who know what they're talking about because they were there, and still are there, working with the real thing. As with this group, I'm more of a lurker than a participant, but I get a lot out of it, I contribute when I have something to offer, and I try not to stir up too much controversy.
