Hi Welcome to the Madness I'm Canadian so I don't know what IVA is I take it it's your motor vehicle branch I don't quite understand the question please use some punctuation so it's easier to read your post. Al
Have you checked http://www.speedsters.com/ ? There are over 600 Speedsters registered there in UK with many using a shortened VW pan.
In US we just measure 2x, cut once about ~10.5", align using 2x4" lumber and welding it back together. I'm sure an alignment table and a professional welder would do a better job but I've not see one come apart and US doesn't inspect much but lights, horn and wipers. European countries are far stricter.
I believe this gentleman is in the UK, Al. There they have to pass IVA(Individual Vehicle Check) upon importation or first time registry then yearly a MOT(Ministry of Transport) test.
Per his profile he's in Wisbech in the UK.
@Ghias59 You might try and reach out to someone at Westfield Sportcars Ltd. They recently purchased Chesil and are now building and distributing the Speedster in the UK. They also have years of experience building other handbill kit style cars.
