Looking for a front bra cover to fit my Beck (Chamonix) 356 speedster. Prefer beige color, but black would do.

Headman - Kirk @ Vintage Speedsters has a partial cover ( I think they may be $50). Pic below.
Partial cover from Vintage Speedster on my current VS Speedster...
Typical Colgan Bra configuration (on my old SC Targa). Very high quality. You can custom order to configure bra for your car with bumper guards, Nerf bars, driving lights, etc..
On this site, GERD and Lane (Beck Speedster) have a more customized bra covering that protects a larger frontal area of the car. They may chime in here shortly. Hope this info helps.

Wardlow Custom Masks made a three-piece bra for my Beck. I covers the whole front of the car well back on the front wheels. The three pieces are the main body cover, the front of the hood (so refueling is easy), an the bumper.

There are also clear 3M films that can be applied to prevent chips and a new clear spray on. Bra's do tend to chaff the paint (now, I wouldn't have any first hand experience of bra's chaffing though).
Or, you could complete the effect and just spray the entire car with Bed Liner and forgetaboudit:
Jim.....Is your Tow Bar stretched out longer? Won't a std. tow bar fit up to your VS ?
I've been thinking of getting one. I heard that there is a slightly longer on made for Ghia's......Bruce
The bra on my car is used for long-distance travel only, and has not done any chafing in 8 years. I do have a fair number of front end chips due to local travel, though. Living in a shipping center near the beach (lots of sand) in the midst of a construction boom will do that.
x2 what Lane said. I use the 'bra' only during highway travel or when flat-towing my car. Also, if left on the car, the moisture/condensation that may accumulate between the bra and your car may damage the paint. I'm just saying...
Bruce - I didn't want to hi-jack this thread so answered your question in 'Dialogs'. Click your 'Dialogs' tab at top right of page.
A bunch of us have gone with the clear vinyl front bra, with good results. They tend to cost $600 or so and it takes an experienced person to do the install properly, but once on there they last and last.
This one was installed in 2003 I think. I have zero stone dings after 20,000 miles and it has only begun to darken in the last year or so. In the right light, it really is invisible.

I also haven't noticed a difference with either lighter or darker cars with these film bras - the film becomes invisible on just about anything. You just wash it like the rest of the car, too.
Kind of more "politically correct" to call it a "Steinschlagshutzshulle" especially if on an "A" body.
Good article on Bra history -

has anyone tried the 3m spray bra that lasts about a year, then you can peel it off? bill
