Damn Marty--that price takes my breath away. I believe you want Real Porsche parts so try and find out where you can get used Porsche parts.

I am restoring a BMW R-80 bike. Today I received a used headlight housing from a used parts dealer for $26. It looked brand new for $15. A new one is $182.83. I saved 92%! This suggests you could find your part(s) for $32?

Maybe someone here can direct you to a dealer in used Porsche parts.

That bad boy is gonna be outrageous!
Henry just completed a roadster in a pink pearl that was beautiful. It was on display at the Vancouver International Car Show and received LOTS of very positive comments. I'll admit that pink is not my color, unless it's a golf shirt, but it is a stunning car. The car also has some interesting suspension pieces and the automatic transmission is from a VW Golf.

Some late-50s/mid-60s M-B lights crossed over:

Couldn't you just cut some 316 stainless tube at an angle. Same diameter or slightly smaller than the existing bezel. The thickest tube wall I saw was 0.25". I'm not sure that would be enough to drill and tap directly into. You could try solid round bar, but that much drilling might be a pain. If you went with thinwall tube, you get some longer mounting screws, or standoffs, tubenuts, or something to mount from the original bezel to the body to clamp the tube between them. Then just polish the shit out of it.
Not sure the profile on the IM - but my CMC is pretty flat where the signal mounts and the wedge would point up. I'm using Lucas assemblies from mid-60 British sports cars. Its quality chrome trim and glass lense (there are plastic replicas too). Were $35 each assembly. They come clear, amber and red lenses with single or dual filament bulbs. I used clear with amber bulb single filament (I should have gone with dual).

If you can get into the 356 Registry site, here's a vendors list with links to all 356 parts suppliers and services: http://porsche356registry.org/resources/356-vendor-links.html

Checked with Pelican Parts but seems all they have is B and C stuff.

NLA has always been THE BEST source, but as you said, they're out.
My '59 A Coupe had the same type lights with wedge bases, so it's possible they began using these on the '58 or '59 cars. The B and C series are completely different (see Pelican Parts link).
