The 2.0 914 engine fits just right, now if I can get the exhaust system figured out without any cutting of the body. I also had to put a notch into the hood to get the DTM to fit and the lid to close. After that I need to see if I need to put cooling tin around it...its alot bigger area than a 356. Had to move my battery mount and coil mount due to the carbs.

Ideas?

A nice little "boot scoop" should give the clearance you need on the 914 shroud,, and duct a bit more outside air at the same time !! Good thing you already had that tranny support in there,, Mike

nope...actually dont have to do much but notch the inner hood just through the inner layer..

Check with Tiger at A-1 Mufler he may have what you need

prepare to open you r wallet for the A1 T4 sidewinder. i just bought one and it was ~$500 for the header and stub pipes (no muffler)

Will the stock 2.0L porsche "banana" fit ? Best bet for a stock engine.
