Not an auction. Also, not mine. This seemed like the best place for it. Abandoned project

Hahahaha they said it was driven 300 miles. Maybe on a flatbed.
I can just see Wolfgang salivating over this one. Maybe he has room in his distantly-located barn for another classic?
Hummm - KY not too far away from me either. Looks like its right out of the crate!
REDUCED - now down to $3250! Tempting. So I guess it has a VW pan but no H beam/brakes, trailing arms. So a trailer required.
Lane still has a trailer you could rent/borrow...... 🙄

...or buy
You know, when I moved back North, a decision I still regret, I no longer needed my car hauler trailer and sold it for $1,600 and was happy to get that for it.
Seems like the buy of the decade for the guy who bought it.
At least my son kept his clone of it for both of us to use.
That was one helluva trailer, for sure.

This is what I did, I sold my car trailer to a friend with the stipulation that I can borrow it as the need arises. I don't have to store it, maintain it or tie up funds, a win -win for me :~)
Dang, I sold my Kenyon stand up motorcycle trailer for more than twice that a few months ago. Somebody got a smokin’ good deal. I only regret it a little. My brother has one I can use anytime.

Trailers used to be nearly free.
No more.
Chris’ trailer is pretty cool. Mine had small decks on each side for the car to drive on to (which also saves about 100 lbs), while Chris’ is one continuous deck across the beam - Good and bad points for both. Mine had a much better, remote-controlled winch, his tilts, slightly, making loading/unloading easier for low ground clearance cars.
In the end, it’s all what’cha lookin’ for in the trailering experience and how any particular trailer scratches your itch. It took me four years and two pickup trucks to finally arrive at something I was happy (and comfortable) with, but when I finally got there, it made towing life really easy.
Trailer are crazy priced at this time for sure .
