Was there ever a 359 porsche made? there are some kit cars that were made by CMC. i am new to kit cars. i used to have a 356a coupe and am now looking into kit cars since i sold it 7 years ago. any advice would help.

There is currently a 359 replica on ebay

However, there is only one hour and a few minutes left as of this writing.
It was going for about 13k I think. If it does not sell you could contact the guy direct after the action if that does not break any ebay rules.

There was never an "origianal" 359 build.
Its not breaking ebay rules to call or email about something that didn't sell. You could also go to the NKCC web site they have a member that has one for sale.

The ebay seller is "azspecialties" has been listed previously without a buyer.
The 359 looks like a CMC and has extended body sections from he original speedster body design . They tend to develope stress cracks over time. I would assume that additional bracing could easily be added.
