What a beautiful car. Currrent bid is over 450K. I have no idea how to figure the value on something like this.

Sold for $689,999 on 4/22/22
Well that answers my question on how you would value this car.

Ah, back when race cars (or near race cars) were beautiful, even if their aerodynamics were flawed.

Our good friend Angela Lane (RIP) once said "Aerodynamics is for those without enough horsepower".
Ummm, already at $690k
It reminds me a bit of the little Fiat V8 cars of that era. It was fun to see that it and my Speedster have the same battery.
In the '70's I liked the SIATA Spring. Apparently, a last ditch effort by the company to avoid bankruptcy. It was based on the FIAT 850 convertible. Not aerodynamic or fast - nor did it delay the bankruptcy. I could see cruising the Italian coast line in one.
The Spring always seemed to me to be a rather sad end to a maker of some beautiful cars. It looks like an addled attempt at a overweight modern MG TD.
I'm with you Lane, that thing is BUTT UGLY! Oh my eyes!
The originally posted BaT link though? SWEET!
Frank Reisner owned a Siata 1400 in 1959. Similar to the one posted above, but more of a regular Siata.
Thought this one should be about $100k and thought it would RNM in the 60s. And sure enough.
