Intermeccanica has one that will go under the engine grill and shows up very well....this is the best solution in my opinion....email henry or call and order one.
Steve installed LED lights using the "backup light" assembly as a location. This is low, I know, but nothing shows. If I start hearing tires screeching, I'll probably follow Gordon's lead an install one in a more prominent location.
And for those of us who want it up prominently up on the rear cowl so the nuts behind can't miss it, I got a third brake light from a 1992 Chrysler LeBaron convertible at a salvage yard - $5 and it blends into the Speedster body style nicely.

Every Christmas for last 20 years or so, I attach a 15 inch tall, hollow plastic Santa Claus on top of my Honda 750 Magna motorcycle travel bag. The plastic is translucent, and an SAE tailight / brakelight combo resides inside. It really lights up the night, but remains "legally red". Usually run it daily to work from Thanksgiving until New Years (you can do that with a motorcycle in San Diego). Have never had a passing cop stop me, but have received thumbs up from several cops. Now if I drove the speedster to work . . .

I mounted a LED bar onto my license frame. Got the light from JC Whipme.

When my son, Chris, was moving his girl friend into a new apartment, he ended up leaving the old place on his motorcycle with her 16" tall "Stitch" plush doll strapped on the back of his bike.
From what he tells us, having a "Stitch" on the back of your bike is the ultimate "Chick Magnet"........go figure.
I don't have a good side picture of my third light, but there may be one in the multitude of Carlisle pictures if anyone's interested. Not as deep as the Taurus one shown - a wee bit more discreet.
