Four Cammer are Great peace of history. and very very expencive.

I like um they are very fast and have great sound , but hard to find parts for, who could afford to maintian one?

They are known for their difficulties and intence care requirements to keep one up. Even a T-4 is more practial.

But don't get me wrong If these obsticals could be over come Id still like to have one
The one on my site, listed was a 75,000 buck engine rebuild!! six months after we finished the engine the car was sold for 416K to someone is Australia.

I drove the car after I finsihed the engine and have to say that I was very disappointed...

The car was built to race Le mans and it was apparent with the gearing and powerband...

I have a 2 liter from an RSK here now. The parts are locked in my safe. 10K for a set of pistons is ridiculous!

BTW- those louvers in the decklid fed directly into the carbs and had housings around them that the velocity stacks fit into. This is NOT wise for a typical replicar arrangement, those louvers can extract air from the engine bay. I have measured the differences and know the reasons why vents are used in low pressure areasa dn not backward facing louvers...

I have some footage and sopund bits of 4 cammers on the grand stand straight at Lemans and also at the tail end of the Mulsanne from my recent trip to the le Mans Classic..I'll be uploading these soon!
