4 Lug options

So it has probably been addressed before but I was wondering what rims you guys with 4 lug VW drums have used or if you ran a different rim did you drill the hubs, use adaptors or what alternatives did you use?

The best way is to drill your rotors - drums.
There are also eBay sellers who will custom CNC machine Billet aluminum spacer-adapters, I've used these and they are high quality.

I just did a 4 bolt to 5 bolt conversion this summer. If you do a search for "Carrera Project" or "Show me your wheels" you'll find all you need to know.

also search TheSamba.com. I've done this as well and have documented it nicely.

Still lots of OEM quality alloy wheels out there for the 4 lug crowd - Fuchs 2.0L (very light and strong), Pedrini pie pan look, and the Mahle pie pans. All these can be polished, chromed (ugh), or painted for custom look. Many like the old school look of chrome, silver or painted steel with plain moon caps or credted nipple caps. Just depends on your tastes or lack off --- definitely no floaters or spinners allowed.

AGREED ! ! ! Those really look wonderful on the chromed wheels. Although, your car even makes the Rivs look good.

The Pedrinis just might look the bast of all . . . THEN back to the spinners for the Rudge look.

Drilled rotors and drums: GM 5 on 4.75 Eagle 117 7x15
