5 1/2 inches to the bottom of the oil pan | 356 Speedster, 550 Spyder, Replica, Automotive Community

You guys who have about 5 1/2 clearance do you have any issues on bottoming out? I lowered my car based on that chart that was posted here and it seems to be off or my year does not work well with it. Anyways I am about 6 inches right now and would like to go about 1/2 lower but wanted to find out if later I will regret it and need to raise it. I installed new bushings at the time so maybe that played a roll in why the chart was off for me.

Did you drive it around a few hundred miles so that its fully settled?

Nope its not running. I was wondering about that. What's a good guess on how much it will settle? I did bounce it and roll it back and forth.
