AC Industries brand (carried by SoCal Import Parts in CA) is a good mix of quality and value. EMPI also makes a no offset kit that is a direct knock-off of the AC Industries kit, although the AC kits have much more substantial caliper brackets. The dual piston Wilwood brakes from AC Industries, as mentioned above, are also great quality and Pete from Airkewld is a great guy to deal with. Another alternative would be Competition Eng. in Canada. They can take a set of OE Porsche 986 rotors and 6 piston Porsche Brembo calipers and machine them to fit the drum brake spindles. They do increase track, but only by 3mm so it isn't a big deal... but they make the Airkewld BAD series brakes look cheap. :)
I have AC Industries wide 5 disks on my Speedster and had them on my Spyder also, all 4 wheels. While they are modestly priced keep in mind they are HEAVY! Something like the BAD system is much lighter, how much I am not certain, but significantly....the AC version everything is cast iron...where BAD and others use a fair amount of aluminum.....
