550 Body question...

Hi out there,

My name is Peter Fritsche and I live in Allen, Texas. I plan to build a Porsche 550 for my wife. Two reasons for a low budged car, fist I grew up in good old Germany and know pretty much everything about the beetle and they are easy to get here in Texas. Second, I try to keep this as a secret and large money movements she would discover.

Bert is correct. I looked for a "kit" for a while before I gave up and bought a turn-key car. There was one guy who had a few Beck kits for sale (See other "newbie" posts for that discussion), but no body-only kits.

BTW...It's nice to see a guy doing something cool like this for his wife, she must be a neat lady.
