Dario (dman550) makes them out of metal. They're pretty nice, but I had to pass on the ones I bought because they were about an inch longer than I had thought. Really nice work, though.
I'm not going to run out and "scoop" these up, but I think there's enough interest from the Spyder set here to rate posting them.
