550 speedster replica

i would like to build a 550 replica,but would like to use actual metal body panels rather than a fiberglass kit. I guess my idea is to build a clone rather than a replica. Does anyone know if there are any shops that supply after market 550 body parts? thanks

Prestige was making aluminum spyders that could honestly be called recreations. Not sure if they still are making them, but if they have any left over, I'm sure they would sell it.

$$$, but worth it.

Angela, I think all of Prestige's stuff went to Russ at Fibersteel. And, I don't think they had finished the first body in aluminum yet when they sold out, it was still under development. However, I know Russ is offering interior aluminum panels and the like, and has been for some time.

Or you could just do what Mightyspyder (in Britain) did... Simply commission a few talented fellows to beat aluminum panels into a spyder shape.

I remember Jake was building a motor for a guy in Britain with a nice aluminum replica but his personal Spyder was a Beck which was sold not too long ago.
