Price seems high for a 12 year old car unless it's really been babied. With the roll cage, five point harness and supposedly healthy engine who would baby it unless he was an old geezer....like, ummm, me.
Oh yes, 3097 miles. Not babied, but not abused. After all, you can't baby a monster.
I know what you mean-I owned a V8 powered (Monster) Miata and I usually burbled round town at 1800 rpm (300+ ft/lbs of torque), but every time I took her for a drive I'd have to smoke the tires at least once.....just because. 
Have never seen those interior frame bars inside the doors on a Beck. Otherwise it looks like a Beck. 2.2 L Type I. Hmm. That's pushing the envelope a bit.
