This little speedster needs a new home, one with loving parents and someone to take it in to the garage every night and tuck it in. Someone to change it's oil and adjust its valves. Someone to soothe it's aches and pains. Polish it's exterior and love it's mechanical parts. In short"A NEW HOME" This little speedster has new shoes ordered ( kumho, whenever they get to the states) It has a top that has never been on the car. Bra and tonneau cover ( the tonneau may need to be stretched, as it seems a little short) Has only 1435 miles on her figure ( has sat in a garage since 1996, So, I assume it was built in the early ninetys. Has a couple of bruises and scrapes that seem like they were inflicted as it spent it's time in the garage and not out in the sunshine and fresh air. Als as accessories the little car comes with parts that are new and need to be installed such as, hood handle and emblem, side mldgs and bottom side mldg trim, bag of tonneau snaps, build manuel, dash cover and trim. Used parts when they arrive of hub caps. The only medical condition that is present is that the emergency brake needs repairing ( have brake cable, not installed yet) and seems to have a wheel cylinder leaking or may have been damaged in transit. The interior is kind of bland and could use soom sprucing up. The seats are in great condition as well as the windshield. The rubber around the tail lights and head lights is brittle, easy fix. Engine seems to run OK and is a VW,(duh) twin carb motor that I am assuming is the standard engine from the time period as I am not of a mechanical nature I don't know the cc or displacement. She has had her carbs rebuilt, new gas lines and the tank has been cleaned. All gages seem to work and the car seems to be in pretty good condition for one that has sat so much of it's life, not fat and lazy, just need to be exercised.
If you can't click on my site here and see the pictures or need pictures and information please feel free to contact me. The little lady is located in " Northern Occupied Mexico" Being McAllen, Texas
We want to find her a good home so if you will send your refrences and a blank check we will do the rest. We are asking a mere $12,500 and the transportation is up to you.

Hi Paul,
The pictures were sent to you.
Seems to run OK haven't been able to drive it a long way as the tires are on BO from the tire rack. Like I stated in my email, the carpet would probably be the only thing that needs immediate attention. The tail light rubber gaskets are brittle and the mirror gaskets are brittle other than that the couple of scratches that you saw in my other pictures and the wheel cylinder leaking, I think. Are the only things that I know that are wrong with it.
Thanks again.
Thanks again Wolfgang, Yes the caps arrived and are great. The little speedster for someone that knows what they are doing wouldn't take anytime to get on the road. But that someone isn't me as I am not very mechanical. The tires are supposed to be here the first of November or at least that's what the folks at tire rack said to me. Seems like these little tires are either very popular or not popular at all I don't know which. But the lady at tire rack said they had a lot of people waiting on them. I give up. Hope that you got your all together and on the road after the gang showed up. Do they travel to "northern occupied Mexico" for a road trip?
