I have a 356 kit that was purchased incomplete and in pieces. Could somebody please post a picture of how the aluminum hood and decklid hinges attach to the body and to the hood and decklid?

I don't know of any speedster kits that have aluminum front or rear hoods. Could it be fiberglass hood with a protruding fiberglass piece either side? Do you know who produced the kit? Assume it fits on a VW pan? Post some photos.
Here's for FF/CMC-

I think @Envious is saying the hinges are aluminum.
@WOLFGANG, maybe it would help if we rephrase it: hood and decklid aluminum hinges.

What attaches the metal flange, shown on the diagram, to the hood? Is there metal in the construction of the hood that can be drilled and tapped or is the flange bonded to the underside?
The metal flange is bonded into the hood - assume as the the inner and outer pieces of the hood are bonded together. All you see from the inner side of the hood is the raw aluminum piece sticking out (and firmly bonded to hood),

My hood is just flat where that flange should be.
I have extra black gel front CMC hood with aluminum hinge mounting pieces bonded in it. Due to size and shape shipping is very costly. I'm not sure whether cutting a slot, inserting the aluminum mounting piece and pumping fiberglass bonding "glue: through a couple drilled holes would work.
The hood was made of an inner and outer (hood liner) that was bonded together. Assume yours has the inner piece and it is already bonded? Guess I could make a template from my spare of where the piece should be.
I'll find photos of my spare hood. Here's one on car.
