The New Jersey Motorsports Park has really taken off. This weekend is the Rolex Grand Am Series Races. Friday and Saturday were mostly Qualifying Heats. Tommorrow is the BIG Race day! Speed Channel coverage.

8:00am- Final Practice for Rolex Series
8:45am- KONI Challenge Series race.(250 miles)2-1/2 hour
time limit
11:30am- Ferrari Challenge Series Race(45 minute max.)
1:00pm- Rolex Series Race(250 miles,2-3/4 hour limit)
4:15pm- Ford Mustang Challenge Series race(45 minute max.)
I am very fortunate to live within 25 minutes of the track,and also be a member of the Green Flag Committee as a volunteer. The greatest perk is that I have access to anywhere on the facility as well as the garage area. What a treat,to be able to see all of these cars up close and talk with mechanics and drivers! Oh yea,and by the way I also am given a weekend pass for any event that I volunteer for! So far all of the venues have been at least 3 days. Oh Joy!!! Go to www.njmp.com for additional race scheduling for upcoming events. The Porsche guys have at least 7-8 club sponsored events this season.
Anyone can get track time(for a fee),during these club(PCA) events. Cory,what say you? Howz bout runnin that Bad Boy down here in Millville. It is about a 2-3/4 hour trip for you. Easy peasy!!

One other little tid bit of information, I had the oppurtunity to ride in the Pace Car(Toyota Tundra)for the Innaugural Race at the Motorsport Park on 8/10/2008. The SVRA-Vintage Sports Car Races."It's not who you know.it's how well you know them"!!!
