Neat idea. I'd love to have Speedster with all 911 mechanicals. Come to think of it...
Seriously, I'd be curious as to how they achieved this - how they were able to fit a 911 chassis, or what they mean by a '911 chassis'.
From the listing it says it is a four cylinder. So he has a 356 body, some kind of four cylinder engine, Trans?, all bolted on a 911 frame?
Some cars look good from 20-30 feet away I'd like to see it close up
Seems like bs. If it were on a 911 tub then wouldnt you think it would have 5 lug wheels and not 4 lug VW?
I was thinking the same.
Funny how they reference the Hemmmings article about OEM 356s to project some form of credibility. Wonder if the trophy is included as well?
This would be one of those cars that has to been seen in person. Does the front end seem high?
Yes it does. I bet the 911 is really 914...
Neither of which have a separate chassis or "frame" on which you can build a car. Such a statement is either due to stupidity on the part of the seller, or (more likely) the seller's hope that potential buyers aren't very bright. Sad either way.
First it would have to be an early 911 to even be close to the correct length. Someone will know but I believe it is still at least 3 inches too long.
Second, someone is smoking some Maui Wowie I would guess.
