Wide Glide - It's a 2001, 10K miles, detachable leather bags & windshield, thunderheader exhaust, stage I kit, tach, chrome just about everywhere (by PO). I'm the second owner & have only put on about 5K. 2-kids under 2yrs. has really limited my riding & my speedster build (3yrs & counting). No issues, scratches, chips or dents. If you're interested I can email you pics.
Dear Vince:

I prefer your 912 than the speesdter replica... I have the funds in my balance ready to pay, however if you will sell to the other guy then I will be interested in The Speedster from Hermosilla if it is possible and you can take some pics from it(color, maker, title is important cause europe authorities need to be title as a 356...).

Although could you tell me about your 912 which engine and condition it has, how many horse power? which year? any rust?any fault?more photos?....nice 912 piece, Vince you do not prefer that your 912 will came to Europe....

Anyway.Thanks in adavnce.Bruno

Bruno, Had you called last week The car would have been available, but since I took a deposit on it already, that basically says the car is sold, however I have bought and sold many cars, and I have learned that until you have the money in your hands, anything can happen...Please wait a few more days to see if this guy indeed comes up with the cash.....He is a broker buying the 912 for a guy in Europe, so I have no problems let it go overseas...money talks...
I will take a few pictures of the speedster in Hermosa Beach, California that is for sale, and I will also do a little research for you as far as maker, when made etc....I will post the pictures here on the SOC site. so stay tuned.....

Vince,I want to thanks again for the Speedster...., also I understand your position you have a deposit but the thing is that the guy of the deposit is a broker he just deal with your 912 for MONEY very material.... I will do for diferent reason:
1- as like you I am a Porsche enthusiast
2- for me it is very difficult to find some good stuff in California because I am 5.000kms from you the only tool is internet and this forum....
3- the broker will have more oportunities than me to find good stuff because he is going around California every day.....he just deal for money....he has many advantages

therefore would be possible that if he does not meet the conditions of the deal = money by Thursday you can say that you have change your mind and want to keep your nice 912 for your wife,friend,cousin.... anyway I do not want to force you but it might this guy drop on the deal I am willing to speak to you on the phone to arrange the paymennt. Thanks again and Cheers.Bruno
Vince: Please use caution dealing with a European broker. Could be a booby trap and I wouldn't like to see you get bit. I saw a lot of 912s, 914s, 911s, and 356s for sale on an English Porsche site. They restored them and then sold them for pretty fair prices. Since this site is available for European buyers I wonder why one would want to pay the shipping from California. Your car is too nice to leave the US. Tread softly GI and don't let them drag your d--k in the dirt!

Bruno,
You are trying to appeal to my sensitive side....If you look to your left, you will see the horns on my happy face, what that basically says is....I have no sensitive side...but if I did, I would still need to honor the deposit that was left on the car....It is non-refundable and lasts through at least this week...
How would I look to all the guys if I renigged on the deal already in progress...(like I got a lot of credibility here anyway)
As far as brokers are concerned, money is money, and as long as he has it, it talks...If I don't hear from him real soon, you have a shot, thats the best I can do at this point.
I would be more apt NOT to deal with a broker on a American finned car from the 50's, but the Porsche means little to me, beyond the cash that it is worth.....don't get me wrong its a very nice car and mine is in great condition, but I buy and sell cars all the time, can't get attached....stay tuned......
