I have a set of 914 gauges that came with my unfinished CMC.  They were mounted and wired, but the car was never finished.  I would like to sell them and I intend to use one of Carey's new set of gauges.  What are these worth?  Is anyone here interested in them before I put them on Ebay?

I am thinking that I would like to get about $300, unless you can convince me that I am crazy.  North Hollywood quoted $500 to convert them to 356 look-a-likes.  The speedometer has a scratch in the black bezel, otherwise they look very good.

Any interest??

The rare combo oil temp/fuel gauge is worth $150-200 alone and a good addition to any car.  I'd list them on Samba and http://www.914world.com - both of which are free. Or list here separately. Hard to find speedo with the reset cable intact.

Pelican has a write up on repairing the VDO gauges.  Later gauges seem to have scratched plastic lenses which can be replaced with the older glass lenses plus the tach inerds can be used to upgrade a dead Chinese/Brazilian 356 repro.
