90mm bore and 66mm stroke Actual total displacement is 1679 cc's

they work better if increased to 2,000 cc's or greater. If you do increase the size, many kits are available but the heads must be cut to accept the larger bore of the 2000 cc engine. You'd be better off trying to find a good set of 2000 heads and sell the 1700 cc heads mostly because they're getting harder and harder to find.
66X90 is the 1700 stock configuration. 350.00 is less than a blown up core engine is worth, I'd grab it for sure.

If you understand value you'll understand that the highest initial expense doesn't necessarily mean that something is more "expensive".

The Type 4 isn't for everyone and that parts aren't whored out to 3rd world countries nearly as much...Thats the reason why that are all we work with here.
