A nice rack

if you wear

you can

I was looking at Greg's website for Vintage Motorcars of California, in Hawaiian Gardens, CA. (https://www.vintagemotorcarsin...m/speedster-turnkey/ ) and I saw that a new speedster build has a base cost of $54,500 without additional features. I have also heard, and recently saw on this site, that although the build time is suppose to be about 13 to 14 months it is actually taking about 24 months to recieve your new build. With this information, and watching the auctions on Bring-A-Trailer, I considered that asking $45,000. for this car was not out of line.At $45,000 a person is coming into a fantastic car for at least $10,000 less and not having to wait for 14 to 24 months. (and if buying it here, instead of BaT, they save the additional 5% auction buyers fee) They could be driving this home they day they pay for it, and enjoying it this summer, not the summer of 2025 (think about that...)This car is located in Long Beach, CA. and has always been registered in California. This car was built by Kirk, at Vintage Speedsters of California in Hawaiian Gardens, CA. before Greg took over and then became Vintage Motorcars of California.
Heck...you should sell it to Troy Sloan. He buys Speedsters so says his website and has some rep on this site........
@David Stroud IM Roadster D , ... I would gladly sell it to @Troy Sloan if he wants it. I've spoken to him on the phone several weeks back, seems like a really nice guy. We never talked about a sale price, just the car.
Your Speedster for sale posting has inaccurate information about Vintage Motorcars and should be corrected. Greg did not "take over" Vintage Speedsters, he just purchased the old location of Vintage Speedsters and moved his company, Vintage Motorcars of California Inc., to the Hawaiian Gardens location. Greg's company is not connected to Vintage Speedsters in any other way!
Thanks Troy, I will correct it.
I just corrected the listing and auction discussion. Thanks for pointing that out.
@E.Quest Still misleading in my opinion. I see no need to mention Greg or Vintage Motorcars of California Inc in your sale at all. They have nothing to do with your car.
If I am correctly interpreting things, it looks like Vintage Speedsters built the car before the company was sold and moved to Arizona. It does look like a Vintage Speedster car.
Then, sometime later in 2019, an upgrade was performed by Greg at Vintage Motorcars.
Do I have this right?

That's how I read it.
@Michael McKelvey, @Stan Galat Yes, you are correct.
Michael & Stan are correct. My apologies, I missed that when I read the post. It's a very nice car, built originally by Vintage Speedsters and up graded by Vintage Motorcars of California Inc..
Thank you Troy, I appreciate that.
