Nice. I was in high school in the 80s, and the school parking lot was full of lowered bugs, muscle cars and mini trucks. I went the Vw route, owning many Vws over the years, and drooling over the feature cars in hot Vw magazine. I still own a couple of vws, and currently building a stock 1955 oval window. I guess Vws are like old friends you just want to keep around. Every time I sit in one, I remember the good old days.

I think this is why there is basically no hot-rodding in Germany. It's illegal for anyone without $20,000 or more for the testing and paperwork.
