I know what just what to do...

I will sign her up for one of those dream sport car rentals where you get to drive various cars like Lambos and give it to her the night before. That should soften her up. She is the only woman I know that would find this romantic especially at 150mph!

You have to understand...this woman has nitroglycerin in her veins.

If I reserved a B&B, I might get a wrench thrown at my head or worse.

Roland is taking care of my 2186 this week. going to do a few tweeks to make sure I don't have to come home on a flatbed. I'm pulling the 1835 ouy today and swaping everything over AGAIN. Hopfully all wil go good and Rhonda will be my copilot on th 13th.

So I'm thinking this event is so close to xmas that maybe we all bring an unwrapped toy and donate them to some organization out that way....like the "1st annual SOC Xmas cruise for the kids....There i go getting all weepy again...This is really out of character for me, so forget everything I said....

Perfect idea Vince...We have a local Fire Station in Wood Ranch, about 2 minutes from the Library, I will drop by and let the boys know to expect us!!!

Stopeed by Vintage today and gave Roland a deposit for some new heads on my 2186. I broke a valve guide and sent a valve into the head, it was stuck stem first right through the casting. Getting some full ported and big valve heads, new 44 Webers,new 130 cam, new 94mm piston/cylinders, all balanced. I talked to Kirk and I am going to bring my car in and have him paint it too. Its still going to be red but all the same color. I ground down the 1/2"- 3/4" fat lips on the fenders last night to get rid of that CMC look and what a difference. It looks more like a steel body now. I brought in my 1835 that seized last cruze and we will see what happened to that one later. I leave for Hawaii on the 18th for 2 weeks and hope to have it back by then, if not I will still be ready by Dec.13

I am trying to plan an open house at the fire station so we can give the toys directly to a needy child....it would be great to have 20 cars at the event so it is really jaw-dropping.

I think I have all my bases covered this time Robert. Roland is building me a sweet engine that will be all dialed in by the 13th I decided to change out the tranie while I'm at it. Beef it up to take the added HP (about 160) Change gearing and all that trick stuff. The heads came in today. The car got delivered to Vintage today and Kirk is preping for paint. He is going to put alot of new trim on as well as a Vintage grill in the engine lid. I don't think anyone will recognize the car as a CMC The interior is staying as is, Darren just did it from JPS before I bought it. It will be kind of a CMC/Vintage/JPS combo. Just don't tell my wife!!!

11:45-12:00 drop toys at local firehouse

12:00-1:30 run to Ventura pier VIA a FUN canyon
*(WARREN WILL HELP WITH EXACT ROUTE)

1:30-ish lunch on the pier at Erik Eriksens
*(WORKING ON A SINGLE-PRICE SET MENU)

3:00-3:30 leave for the Camarillo outlets or home
