Man oh man!!! That was too much fun! Billy - you and Nina ROCK! Thanks for putting together a great run for the group. What a great way to start the Christmas holidays by hanging out with this group - rain or shine it don't matter.

Gerd played Santa Claus and had some cool gifts for everyone on the cruise!

To the Carlisle 2008 SOCers that toured the Harley Davidson plant and saw MUSBJIM get kicked out of the tour and escorted off the premises...just be glad Billy wasn't there!! They would have frigging shot him on the spot - or at least Tasered him.

Warren - we're bummed we couldn't hook-up! I got your message while we were in the library but had problems trying to get in touch with you. We missed you & Karen on this run.

I'm still fumbling my way around on this new MacBook laptop. I'll post my pics from today's cruise as soon as I figure out how to do it!

Later!
hmmmm.... The Weather Channel says it's currently (at 7am in LA) only 44 degrees in Los Angeles and the high for the day is supposed to be a whopping 58 F !?!?!? No wonder you'se guys and gals were chilly yesterday!

Geeze!!! It's gonna be warmer here in the good Old Southland!! (as long as you stay East of Atlanta and that cold mass in the middle of the country). We're currently 49F with a forecasted high of 64f!!

Thank God we have the Gulf Stream only 60 miles to the East.

Wow.....We're gonna be warmer than SoCal.... Nyahh, Nyahh!!!!!

I'm taking Pearl out this PM to go shopping - should be nice!

Seriously, sounds like Y'all had a great time and THAT's what having Speedstahs and Speedstah friends is all about.

Now I am confused. Did some of you make the Ojai run? Karen and I were tooling around all the highways between the 23/LA Ave corner to Santa Paula looking for you guys. We would have gone straight to the library, but thought you had already left and I couldn't remember where the fire station was. We finally figured it was too late and headed to Ventura, but no speedies. My fault, I should have called when I left the house, should have left earlier, and should have left my new number. It looks as though you guys had a really good time at the library. Sorry I was such a wimp about the weather, it would have been fun. Billy, you're right, Vince is truly a nice guy behind all the BS. Dam, did I say that?
Billy, thanks for putting this event together. I had a blast.
I made it home via Hollywood just before dark, car and artwork intact.Tamera wasn't even upset. She IS a keeper!

I am still working on a date for a screening of "King of the Mountain"at my place. I'll let everyone know when I have all the renovations done.

Joseph, give me a call when you are ready to take a look at your car (714)376-5634. We'll put it up on the lift, and figure the suspension out.

Here are a few pictures:

Thanks again everybody for a great time.

I punked out yesterday. Nothing like a rainy, cold dawn and a sciatic nerve to keep me in bed. It looks like I missed a great time. It was cccold at 6AM here and remained damp and chilly all day. It seemed like it was not as cold or wet on the run from the reports, but then I see the pic of MUSBJIM in shoes and SOCKS! A truly frightening weather indicator! I am sorry I missed the run. La Jolla is right down the road, let's do it!
I had a really great time with you all this weekend. This truly is a great group and I am very happy to have come across SOC that fateful day in Malibu. I have some photos which I will post here, if anyone wants actual images let me know which ones you'd like. Thanks again Billy and Nina.

P.S. My pre-cruise rain dance was a blessing. Thank god I didn't need to use my top (aka tonneau cover).

Cheers,

Scotty
