Don't know anything about this dude or the build other than what's in the videos, but I like his 'nothing is impossible' attitude.

Anyone recognize any of the frame or suspension bits?  The steering rack? I also like how he's redone the rear of the car to accommodate a tranverse-mounted four. Reminds me a little of the Ferrari Dino rear window.

The fuel tank (fuel cell?) appears to be, uh, custom.

It would seem a P-car COA will not be forthcoming.

I would like to see when he gets to his "finish skills"

.I'm not expecting concourse levels of finish — probably more rat rod. But, big tent, right? Projects like this can only be good for the hobby.

I'm thinking this will look more like the Emory family's first generation of products, rather than the polished jewels they're producing today.

I'd be willing to bet a beer that this will be finished to a higher level than you imagine. The skill on display so far leads me to believe this guy can certainly block and paint a car as well.

His skills are on another level.

It's a Honda K20, a 2-liter tuners favorite which supposedly will easily do over 200 hp. So, as Rolls Royce used to say, power should be sufficient. And he should be able to use a Honda 5- or 6-speed, with, presumably, the stock shifter and linkage since those are cabled.

Why couldn't Zuffenhausen come up with stuff like this?

Here's the video showing how he positioned it and worked up the mounts. Not having to deal with pesky tins seems to make life easier in so many ways:
