Last weekend was total chill!

Early Saturday morning (06:15) at Cars & Coffee, met up with Will 'Billyfeet' Pierson, Robert 'Bobsled' Brown, Dr. Bruce 'Ibonku' Chow, Tom Williams, and 'Markos' Hjelm. Lots of Porsches in town for the 356 Concourse. Regrouped for a 'manly' breakfast at a local Mexican eatery. Muy Bueno!

After breakfast, Will Pierson & I headed south to Carlsbad to meet up with Dan 'TUB4STU'. Cruised Pacific Coast Hwy to La Jolla (San Diego) and hangout at the beach while tourists and beachgoers ogled the Speedsters.

Sunday morning at Dana Point Harbor, Ginny & I started with breakfast of massive blueberry pancakes, maple syrup and applewood smoked bacon (in honor of my Brutha, Wild Bill) and took in the 356 Concourse on the beltway above the marina. Beaucoup spectacular P-cars. Great chill weekend!

Here's a short video of the weekend highlights. Wish all of you could have joined in...

When I was a kid every Saturday was an informal C&C in the   afternoon through the late evening hours at the Clock Drive-in on the corner of Imperial and Atlantic in Southgate.

A never ending slow cruising parade of four wheeled pride and joys from Barris chopped customs to primered ratty-ass T-buckets!

I hope that 'top level' has a Clock Drive-in too.

Rusty - Ginny & I had breakfast at RJ's, next door to Mahé restaurant in Dana Point. We walked up the stairs to the park and cruised the Concourse for only a short time, 10:30-11:30.

Give me a holler sometime and we can meet at the Schwack (PCH & Amber Lantern) for a burger or whatever!

A few years back, an ex-SOCer and I went to that Concourse and pulled up to the showground. They (erroneously) directed us to park in the judging area.

Knoxville does not offer big C&C events like yours, but we do manage to get cars of interest sometimes.  This is a glimpse of what we see:

Oops!  Sorry, this is copyrighted.

I am usually the only one that brings a 356 of any description, but once, just once, a guy I knew brought a restored original Speedster.  Niiiiiiice!

BTW, I don't think there is an "e" in "concours".
