A Perfect Friday

 Got up at commute time and headed the opposite direction. Took a nice cruise from Portland in my Vintage Speedster around Mt Hood. With kids in school and being a weekday I pretty much had the rolling and twisty mountain roads to myself. There were a few clouds but it was comfortably warm. Took the Washington side East down the Gorge to White Salmon and Hood River. The wind surfers were already prepping for a good day. Headed South through the Hood River Valley and up and around Mt Hood. Returned to Portland in time to find two IPA's had fallen out of my fridge and watch the America's Cup. Plan to barbecue a steak in about an hour. "What a wonderful world"..... L. Armstrong
