Nothing valuable, just wanted to say hello to everyone.

Started down the Formula Vee path last winter so the poor speedster went to the side for a bit. I am happily back doing things with it again.

Learned A TON doing the Vee. How they can get so much out of a little 40hp is amazing. I mean, setting the lift with a dial down to three places? Pushing a steel ball through a heating intake manifold to expand it? I wrote it off as just a 40hp. Honestly, kinda blew it off at first, but on the track, a little concerning -and a little scary. These guys have been scraping every bit of HP out of these for 40+ years. Humbled to say the least.

Hope everyone is well. Talk soon!20180804_091834_resized

Who is this “Boothy” guy?  Must be one-a those “Racer TYpes”!

It’s a whole different world over there, isn’t it?

Glad you’ve had your fun and are now (slowly) returning to the “Light Side of the Force”.  Besides......Did you ever see the evil-wicked-mean-and-bad-and-nasty Darth Vader driving a Speedster?

We should get a bunch of us “Replica Dudes” together soon.  Let me see what’s coming up for the PCA that we could all crash in replicas and Hawaiian shirts and post it here.  Maybe we could all crash at the Gallos in Eastham, instead.  Would pro’bly be more fun hanging at the beach.......

When do you go back to work, next week?
