Thinking of getting a different exhaust. I may be selling an almost new ceramic coated A1 sidewinder equal length header with the V-Band muffler and center exit pipe. Muffler is the bullet one, not the magnaflow. System has less than 50 miles, it is a screamer at top end and will help engine breathe substantially better. My rpm range increased and engine revs almost as good as my ported/turbo rotary.
Paid $880 for entire system custom made for the Speedster 356. Feeling out interest and offers, not looking to take a massive hit since this thing is basically new, ceramic coated and has the better v-band header flange. Probably best exhaust for air cooled engines, I am thinking of switching to a different setup from them.

I will confirm size tomorrow when I pick up the car. Engine is a 1914cc, ported heads, dual 44idf's, lightweight flywheel...nothing outrageous. Engine really woke up when i out this header on. Rpm range increased well past the 6000 mark. It cruises easily without feeling backed up at around 4000-42000 rpm's at 80mph.
Im trying to upload a pic of what I am considering, but using the mobile forum version isnt that friendly.

A1 makes a 1-3/4" sidewinder. I ran one for a couple of summers with a 2332.

I love these headers- I've had 4 of them and a low-down. Just FYI, FWIW: the A1 sidewinder (however nice it is) does not have "equal-length" tubes. #4 is at least 6" (probably more) shorter than #1. If you ask Tiger about it, he'll freely offer up that information. It's super nice, but it's not perfect. "Perfect" (from a power standpoint) is a "merged" header with the collector pointed straight back. This is certainly not "perfect" by any aesthetic standard, unless you're OK with a stinger pointed two feet out the back of your car. The A1 sidewinder is a nice compromise.

That is a beautiful looking exhaust system.  I've watched a couple of You-tube videos with this exhaust system on air cooled engines and they're loud.  If you don't like a loud exhaust system this may not be for you.

I dont mind loud at all. These cars are small so they need to be heard!! Besides, my other car is a boosted 85 rx7 running a 3in downpipe straight thru to nothing but a straight thru muffler....thats loud!

I went by shop just now and it is indeed a 1 5/8.

Equal length or not, this is a damn solid setup and, in my opinion, one of the best exhaust systems on the market.
