CIP1 is the only source that I have found for this exhaust, but it is on backorder with an ETA of no time soon. I have been told that it is made in Japan by a company called Flat 4. Does anyone know of any other sources for this system?

Alohas,

If I'm not mistaken, you should check Mooneyes Parts USA as they are supposedly the sole importer of Flat 4 components from Japan.

Here's a link: www.mooneyes.com/FlatFour/Flat4.html

They have the FlatFour Abarth muffler for 1200cc engine and 1300cc and up. Both are $129.99.

aloha,
Joel
I thought that might be so. I have no experience with these (Abarth) exhausts, however, its pretty common knowledge in the VW engine world that merged headers are the way to go, if you want it to flow...

What types of exhaust fit on Speedster/Roadsters? Do the merged headers fit or do you guys have to use the 'street' headers? Just doin' a little research here.

mahalos,
Joel

A good choice for exhaust system is the CSP dual exhaust. At least one member has this exhaust mounted on his speedster and it's probably the way I will go for my new 2110 engine. It's not cheap. Check out WWW.customspeedparts.com The site is in Germany but CSP USA is located in California.
