a/c units

anyone know of an a/c assembly for a speedster that's available I know some on the other coast are fortunate enough to not need it as much as us here in the east, thanks

I bought and installed one out of Florida. It has all components in the dash. I am impressed. I live on the coast south of houston and find it more than adequate.

Vintage Air has a site with aftermarket AC units for univeral fit.
http://www.vintageair.com/ . I don't need air but I did buy an real nice heater from Summit Racing and their site may have AC units too.
Vintage Air is American made too.

I'm pretty sure the Beck Boys use Vintage Air, too, as do a WHOLE LOT of Street Rod builders.

I use Vintage Air and Nostalgic Air on my watercooled builds. I have a different company that builds my aircooled units. They make a kit specific to the Beck, one for VW bellypan cars, and one to add to vintage Porches.

Care to share where we can buy the bellypan version?

I didn't post it yesterday because I wanted to speak to Ed and make sure he was OK with retail sales. Small specialty shop that stays very busy building kits and doing custom installs. The shop is called Gilmore Enterprises. He has brackets for single carbs, dual carbs, TI, TIV and more... For any Beck owners considering adding their own AC we only use Ed's compressor brackets and fabricate all the other brackets here in house, as well as the lower valence.

Mine is from Gilmore Air. It has ao parts in the front compartment...all under dash. The only concern is the external coils are directly under the seats and lay flat. These are subject to dragging and stuff being kicked up from the road. I am fitting some gravel guards and am cautious of speed bumps.
