I purchased a partially built CMC on a Metalcraft tube frame. It has 4 wheel discs. My first problem is that the accelerator pedal has the cable attached to the side of it and the cable then runs directly to the back on the top of the tunnel. I think I should change this or I am going to have trouble figuring out what to do with the carpet. Running the cable thru a slit in the carpet doesn't seem safe. I don't know what the standard bug setup looks like.

Second problem is that the brake pedal seems to have a lot of travel. I assume I have a standard dual master cylinder. Is it necessary to go to a bigger master cylinder with disc brakes to cut down pedal travel?

Take a look at the placement of your master cylinder in relation to the calipers. If it is BELOW the calipers, you need to put residual valves in-line. You can get the from Summit or probably alot of other places. For disc brakes need the 2 lb. valves.

From Summit - Wilwood Residual Pressure Valves #WIL-260-1874 - $17.95
