Added footwell rubber pad on my VS | 356 Speedster, 550 Spyder, Replica, Automotive Community

I have only 500 or so miles on my VS and I noticed that the carpet left of the Clutch was wearing fast(narrow footwell). So, I had an interior guy make this rubber pad to rest my foot against. It looks decent and is supper effective.

You mighet also consider doing the same on the tunnel to the right of the gas pedal. Years ago a company called MG Mitten sold items for VW's that were made of aluminum and shielded the carpet in both places.

They heat the rubber to make it pliable and use an adhesive that sets fully in 24 hrs.
