Adding A/C

Well,
I am taking some good advice and getting all info before I start buying parts and pulling engines.

I have decided, with the subtle reminder of the desert sun, to add an air conditioner. I know that I will lose some power but that is not my real concern. I have a 1776 already build VS. I have read the posts and trolled the internet. I looks possible but I don't know what it looks in a speedster.

Could someone please post up some pics of the AC stuff.

Does anyone know what AC parts are in their cars?

I have seen some units that go into Ghias but I was thinking about adding some stuff from other types of cars for a more efficient unit.

I am keeping the threads about keeping the engine cool in mind while I write this one.

Had you been here one or two years ago you might have scored Hoss' almost new A/C unit that he removed from his previous VS (as you know he now owns the first "Subytub"). His car was ordered with the A/C but he didn't like it in the car and just removed it and sold it in the Classifieds here. From what I've read from VS owners their A/C unit works very nicely; three or four years ago it added about $1,800.00 to the cost of the car but I decided against it when I ordered in keeping with the original theme (these cars originally had no A/C or radio).
