The ladies in red are real.

The ladies in blue nice but aftermarket.

I personally Like the St. Christopher Zodiac version. I have one on the Beetle. the D has the Stoddard (P) crest .

As for the flimsyness of the banjo? What kinda driving are YOU doing?

If your Just a street cruiser It's fine.

If your a serious racer? (OR a Gorilla gripping yard ape) Then Yes You want a Nardi ..

Both the beetle and the D Have rack & pinion steering and you can single finger steer eather. they are that light to the hand.

(I like my banjos wheels!)
Gabriel,
I agree with you. I think it looks lots better. I put one on my car and have never regretted it. I do drive a bit agressively from time to time but was taught to handle the steering wheel as a "directional stabilizer" rather than a "gripping handle". Many of my older sports cars had wheels that were somewhat flexible but that never created a problem. I suggest that driving these cars within their intended limitations no wheel is too flexible. Just my opinion.....

Yelp I'm with Dusty . I like the Nardi it's a fine wheel. but the banjo to me is a better look..

If I could have got a real 356 wheel with the horn trim ring that lets the center horn button be the flash to pass button. THAT! would have been the Cats Meow for me .

But I choked at the price tag and settled with the banjo.. the price was way to much, just to be totally correct.. and with my car being a Automatic . Just a waist of of real (P) parts.
