Adding door speakers for radio

I have a CMC speedster and I am considering adding 6" dia speakers on the door panels. Before I go to the trouble of removing the interior Side panels I would like to know if the door skin is hollow or has reinforced bracing that I may accidentally cut in to them if I saw the hole out without removing the interior panels?

No reinforcing - in fact not a lot of fiberglass - just around edges and where handle is. There's a picture in the CMC build manual in library. So lots of room for speakers but they will have to be attached to the upholstered door panels.

I mounted mine up under dash (out of sight) using the square steel cross member.
