Has anyone added a fuel door to their 356 replica? I've seen through the hood fuel fillers/caps with rain drains, etc, ... But have not been able to find anyone adding a fuel door.
I believe that an external fuel filler door is required on cars in the UK. Do some lurking on the European Speedster sites and see if you could get a fuel door or a fender section with door from the folks at Chesil speedsters in the UK.
Regardless, this will be somewhat more than a minor paint fix, since you'll have to modify the fender to accept the door.
I think the b& c cars had them,I have planed to do that to mine in the same location&shape as porsche it on them. for some reason I cant seem to ever get a filler to stop running fuell out when Im done, I stand there jiggling they thing in my hand trying to get the last drop to drop then when I pull it out I always seem to make a mess on the fender.I even turn it to aim upward,no help. kinda like an old man with leeky pipes&wet shoes&socks. modern technoligy at it's best.
