I am finally finished with the re-wiring of the electricals and am waiting for the arrival of the carpet kit and interior pieces from the upholsterer.

I was wondering if there are any alternatives to contact cement for installing the carpet and dash cover. I am a little concerned about using contact cement for the dash cover, since it only gives you one chance to get it on right.

Thanks, Chuck

And if I must say - absolutely FABULOUS fumes... Do get out from under the dash regularly otherwise oh, the lovely lovely colors...

Oh, also, don't sit in on the tube and squirt it on your jeans and keep working. You'll glue your britches to your bottom and it is surprisingly uncomfortable to remove. (uncomfortable but according to Steve very funny to watch...)
