I bought a new top, frame, latch and side curtains from one of the major speedster builders and I'm not sure what I should do if anything but I'm getting a little concerned because I paid for the parts on April 9th and didn't get them yet, OK it's not that I'm not patient but after a reasonable amount of time went by I emailed asking if they were sent anyway not only have I never got an answer but I called and left a voice message as well and still no reply via phone or email. I order some large parts from another supplier at the same time and got the box only 4 days later now I realize that's extra fast but I'm starting to get a little annoyed and thought I seek the opinion of all you fine speedster fans to see if this is to be expected or what if anything I should do, thanks in advance.

With respect, Jane...it's tiring just reading yours posts as someone else mentioned a short while ago. You might do well to consider learning about effective use of punctuation and then use it to your benefit. That may even help getting a more positive response from the suppliers that you chose. Reading your posts is painfull but I find it amusing as I have taught effective communication skills in my past.
purchase was made from JPS and he offered it to me because he said a customer custom ordered it and then changed his mind I thought it was not relevant to say who I bought it from but OK not a problem. I but parts all the time in fact as a living and frankly rarely have an issue but like I mentioned I left numerous emails and one voice mail so I think I have done my due diligence and surprised to not have gotten a response. I ordered a luggage rack from VS that arrived in four days.
I meant to say I buy parts all the time sorry for the slip of the key, but anyway to not get a response is strange no matter who the parts were bought from as well as the amount of time getting here. He emailed me to say he lost my address but later emailed back to say he found it but I'm starting to wonder if there's a problem because you would think with a $700- bill there would be tracking provided.
David i appreciate your concern for my communicative abilities as stated ....

but I honestly don't think my shortcomings regarding this has anything to do with not getting a response from the seller or the parts not being here I paid for them promptly with my credit card info as requested and literally never heard anything back since then. I had to inquire a few days later to ask if he got my info OK because I didn't hear from him about the payment or shipping.

I run a business of buying and selling cars and in facilitating the process I buy parts every day from all over the world and can honestly say I never encountered this before I feel his communicative skills would warrant being discriminated as well as mine. I will email again and call again as I've been doing but any suggestions other than this are welcomed.
the complete top assembly including side curtains were special ordered in tan stayfast with black underside that the customer changed his mind on so JOhn suggested since I wanted a tan top to give me a good deal on the whole assembly thats why I was thinking it pretty much should of gone out quickly. I emailed again today asking for a return email as usual so I guess it's a waiting game now I might do what you suggested and contact my credit card company if he doesn't respond soon, thanks for the suggestions.
There are good people who are in business for themselves and provide a great service but get so busy that sometimes customer service can suffer and the only cure is customers saying something about it then that catches their attention but not always so that is one way we can help them help us remember they do have parts and services that may not be available everywhere I have had this happen to me before an I greatly appreciated it and was able to provide much better customer service because of a client giving me critical feedback I don't think I can keep up this pace I am having a stroke uuuuuuuuungh must stop "Pommerizing" trying to type a give slf CPR noot werking ...........!
